Our History New Joy Community Church started meeting for Joyful Worship in May 2005. By September 2005, Sunday morning included Learning Centers for both children and adults. From the very beginning, New Joy Church has actively shared God's love by supporting local, national and international ministries and mission work.
New Joy Church continues to "love God by loving other people" in Sioux Falls by supporting ministries such as the Backpack Program, the Christmas Angel Tree Ministry and the ministry of Lunch is Served.
New Joy Church has also supported the national and international mission work of the United Church of Christ. New Joy Church has been recognized for giving at least ten percent of their offerings to ministries supported by the United Church of Christ within the USA and around the world.
